The songs of the two composers, Yoshino Nakada and Hideo Kobayashi, opened my heart to the beauty and delicacy of contemporary Japanese music when I was a music college student. I believe Japanse songs should be more appreciated , loved and sung by people all over the world, like the songs from Italy, Germany, France and other countries.
I wish this CD conveys my passion and affection to these contemporary Japanese songs together with the beautiful minds of the composers.

Piano: Momoko S. Gresham
Momoko S. Gresham was graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music and received a master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music. She has given solo chamber music performances in Italy, Japan and the U.S.. She is a faculty member of 92nd street "Y" School of Music and Sunny Music School in Queens. She has been a piano accompanist to the Nippon Club Women's Chorus since November, 1994.
